Erik Niel narrative filmmaker, creative artist, and musician has produced several projects ranging from short films, music videos, and documentaries over the past ten years.  His talents lie  in creative design but he still finds time to record a rock album as a musician.  Erik’s passion truly lies in narrative story telling as a writer / director.  He has written / directed 180, The Ultimate Disease, and a reality documentary that took him* to China, titled, The 20th Mile.  For the coming 2012 year Erik is already in pre-production of a feature script entitled, Containment and will shoot a short film entitled 180 degrees.

 

MATTHEW MILLAN’S background is diverse in the sense that he  has worked in a number of different jobs.  He graduated  with a Physics degree from UCSC, and worked as an  engineer in Silicon Valley for several years, but found  this vocation wanting.  In the back of his mind, he had always wanted to be a documentary filmmaker, so in  2002 he quit his job and co‐founded 180 Films.  Since then, he has built an impressive portfolio, which ranges from music videos to a documentary based on his experiences with snow leopards.  He has traveled to  many exotic locales for his art, from the snowy peaks of Ladakh, India to the Great Wall of China.
